Our Des Moines employees recently participated in the area’s Heart Walk. The Central Iowa Building Industry group had goals of 250 walkers and $25,000. Waldinger recruited 130 of those walkers and nearly $20,000 in funds and our company was the number one fundraiser for the entire event.

From the Houston Astrodome, Louisiana Superdome, Dodge City-Ford County Center, Knapp Center, Notre Dame and Wells Fargo Arena, we are the winning team. Lincoln’s Haymarket Arena is next…
The new 450,000 square-foot, 16,500-seat West Haymarket Arena will possess 2,400 tons of cooling and have the potential for future expansion to 18,000 seats. This arena will replace the Bob Devaney Sports Center (another Waldinger project managed by our own Dave Miller) as the new home of the Nebraska Cornhusker men's and women's basketball teams. We have been awarded the entire mechanical and plumbing packages, and since the arena will be constructed within the confines of an active railroad system, all of our onsite employees will be trained and certified to work near railroads.
